At SKIDOS, we believe learning should feel like play, and our CEO Aditya Prakash recently shared how this mission drives everything we do. In a conversation with Pulse 2.0, he reflected on his journey from launching the first iPhone in India to building SKIDOS in 2015, inspired by the need to make children’s screen time meaningful, joyful, and safe.
Building Curiosity Through Play
Aditya explained that SKIDOS was born from a simple realization: traditional education often fails to spark curiosity. With our proprietary technology, we transform casual mobile games into adaptive learning experiences that nurture skills in math, reading, emotional well-being, creativity, and fitness. Today, SKIDOS offers over 1,000 playful learning activities in 14 languages, designed to support diverse learners, including neurodivergent children.
Milestones and Recognition
SKIDOS has grown into a globally trusted platform, recognized by Apple and Google as teacher-approved, and awarded Children’s App of the Year and the Parents’ Picks Award in 2024. Collaborations with beloved brands like Angry Birds, The Smurfs, and Pinkfong further enrich our library, bringing iconic characters into meaningful learning experiences.
Looking Ahead
With strong investor backing and profitability since 2023, SKIDOS is expanding rapidly. Our future goals include deepening support for neurodivergent learners, strengthening offerings in early literacy and emotional well-being, and continuing to partner with global brands to reach millions of families.
Aditya summed up our mission best: “We’re not just building for kids, we’re listening to families and growing with them. Our mission remains clear: to make joyful, personalized learning accessible to every child, everywhere.”
